Chief Chinese Negotiator Liu He is on his way back to Washington to sign a balanced trade deal. Mr. Liu doesn’t want to talk about spying and intellectual property thief at this meeting, but Trump does. And that is one reason Wall Street investors have the heebie-jeebies. Economists claim Trump’s war with China will erode the economy much faster than expected.
Americans paid more than $259 billion to support Trump’s tariff war. Most Americans don’t realize the subtle price increases. But now that most products made in China could fall under Trump’s new tariff proposals, the price increase will hit consumers right between the eyes, according to NY Times.
Every American can expect to pay a more than $2,000 hidden tax in the form of tariffs in 2020 unless Trump drops the tariffs. But Mr. Trump isn’t in the tariff-dropping mood. He plans to add additional tariffs on products coming out of the European Union on October 15th. If he follows through on his threat to add more tariffs on European automobiles the hidden tax amount will jump substantially for prospective Mercedes, Audi, and Porsche owners.
The Feds ran short of cash when big corporations drained the repo market to pay their taxes. Jerome Powell said the Fed board will inject more money in that bank-to-bank lending market. Powell also told Trump not to expect another rate cut this year. Trump called Powell every name in the mobster handbook when he didn’t cut interest rates the way Europe and Japan did when their economies started to get the recession flu.
Rudy Giuliani told Lindsey Graham he would sit in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee so he can spew Ukraine BS all over Joe Biden. Rudy said Adam Schiff won’t get a chance to listen to his conspiracy theories, because Adam and the other chairman are Congressional scum. Lindsey has to show Trump he has his back after calling the Trumpster a dump ass for pulling troops out of Syria. Lindsey wants Rudy to take Trump’s case to the Republican Senate so Republicans can absolve all of Trump’s mobster moves.
Mr. Trump let Pelosi know he’s not going to let Adam Schiff’s kangaroo court tell him what to do. Trump said Pelosi wants to overturn the 2016 election with her illegal impeachment inquiry. Mr. Trump claims the constitution is on his side, so he’s not afraid to go toe-to-toe with her.
