The impeachment has Trump tweeting like a man with his orange hair on fire. Mr. Trump also sent Nancy Pelosi a letter that didn’t mince words. He called Pelosi a power-hungry villain among other low-life comments to show the Speaker of the House he’s ready for a mobster rumble during the Senate trial.
Mr. Donald Trump wants to show his voter base he did the right thing when he put the screws to Zelensky. Mr. Trump told the press his Republican cult will confirm his lies during the trial.
The Senate trial is not like a regular trial where the jurors keep their opinion about the case quiet until both sides present the facts they believe are true. In this Senate trial, the jurors don’t have to follow the jurors’ oath even though they take the oath.
Most of the jurors in Trump’s impeachment trial will vote not to impeach the president. Mitch McConnell and the Trumpster have the jurors by the short hairs. It sounds like Trump’s trial will follow his mobster code rather than the rule of law, according to several legal scholars.
The Russians are hard at work screwing with the 2020 election. Russian hackers also helped Rudy Giuliani bring Marie Yovanovitch down. And Russia continues to help Rudy prove Ukraine interfered with the 2016 election. Rudy’s new documentary was a hit in Russia. Lindsey Graham wants Rudy to bring the latest dirt-digging video to his Senate committee in order to keep Trump’s conspiracy theories alive.
Lev Parnas had a court date and the testimony, in that case, proves Russia, Rudy, and the Trumpster have a close relationship. That relationship didn’t end after the 2016 election. Russia continues to help Trump fuel his ridiculous claim he wants to stop corruption in Ukraine.
Rick Gates, another Trumpian, just got the news he’ll spend 45 days in jail and has to pay a $20,000 fine for lying to the Feds and helping Paul Manafort set up meetings with Trump campaign officials and the Russians. Gates also got three years’ probation for being Manafort’s flunky.
Trump just made it harder for U.S. tech companies to sell components to Huawei. Mr. Trump wants to put a limit on chip and other component sales to the Chinese tech giant. The U.S. tech industry will take a big hit if Wilbur Ross puts Trump’s sales plan in motion. Bringing Huawei down is worth the economic hit. If he keeps screwing Huawei, Trump can claim global 5G dominance.
