Prince Andrew Doesn’t want to talk to U.S. investigators. The investigators want to know what he knows about Jeffrey Epstein’s life. And more importantly, what he knows about his death. Bill Barr started an Epstein prison episode investigation, and he smells rat droppings, and he wants to find the rats. The prison guards assigned to keep their eyes on Epstein suddenly decided to do other things the night Jeffrey meet his maker.
Mr. Barr wants to find out if there was a plot to get rid of Epstein. Jeffrey knew a lot of high-powered corporate giants and political figures. Mr. Trump had his picture taken with Epstein back in the Disco days. And Andrew’s photo is all over the news with Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Bill Barr’s not happy about his role in Bolton’s new book. Bolton told Barr the president was granting favors to autocrats, and he wanted Barr to stop him. Bill overlooks some of the president’s foreign tactics and he protects the president from Congress, according to the New York Times. Mr. Bolton also said Barr, Pence, and Pompeo knew what Trump wanted to do to President Zelensky, but all three men continue to deny they played a role in the Ukraine debacle.
The Feds plan to keep interest rates the same this month. Powell said the board has concerns about the economic damage the coronavirus may cause over the next couple of months. Powell didn’t say the Feds would stop funding the repo market every month, but that decision may come this year in order to get the Feds balance sheet in better shape. The big question in economic circles is what will happen to the stock market when the Feds stop propping up the economy? A few Wall Street economists claim the correction started when news the coronavirus hit American shores.
The impeachment trial could turn into a witness trial now that Bolton made it hard for the non-Trump senators, like Mitt Romney, not vote to hear Bolton’s testimony.
President Trump’s new Middle East peace plan gives Bibi Netanyahu a win. Bibi played a role in Jared Kushner’s attempt to force the Palestinians to play second fiddle and pass a series of tests before they get statehood. The tests include allowing Israel to take more West Bank land and other concessions to prove they are less worthy than the Israelis, according to The New York Times.
