Freight Hub Group is a logistics company operating in South Florida since its launch in 2004. It was recently ranked among the fastest-growing businesses in the US by the Inc 5000 Magazines.
Luis’s expertise, hard work, and passion for logistics and entrepreneurship was heavily natured in his formative years when he played golf with various professionals. He formed a robust network that enabled him to get into a logistic company, where he gained substantial experience in the industry. He mainly got interested in the shipping and storage of hazardous materials.
He came up with various ideas for improving this trade when his first venture was born. He named the company DGD Transport and the company became successful and gained an extensive list of clients. After DGD Transport, Luis moved on to build several other companies. His second company was Freight Hub Group. The new company offered several services, including total truckload shipping, last-mile shopping, drayage, and comprehensive storage options.
Luis Lopez Freight Hub Group’s idea came to him in his sixth month in college. He worked for Hazmat Company in Miami for a year before starting his own business. His company offers third-party logistics services. As the company’s CEO, Luis ensures all his employees have a conducive working environment. He believes if he takes care of his employees, they will treat and serve the customers and other team players well.
Luis understands very well the importance of using high-tech online platforms. An example would be his partnership with TruckHub. It has made it possible and easy for customers to track their shipments while still in transit. Freight Hub Group facilitates real-time communication between clients and drivers for efficiency.
