New Technology Will Keep Fruits And Vegetables Fresh For 100 Days

An Indian company is doing its part to make sure that less food goes to waste. They have introduced Black Box technology, which will help fruits and vegetables stay fresh for up to 1,000 days. The company is run by Sachin Adhikari and Sahil Peerzada.

Sachin and Sahil have teamed up with scientists in Spain. The scientists created the Black Box technology. Nitrogen is used in regular cold storage. However, the Black Box system does not have any preservatives or nitrogen. Just about anything that is placed in the Black Box can stay fresh for up to 1,000 days including meat. Black Box can be set up in just about any plant or factory.

The technology has been tested worldwide. It has also been tested in the United States. Additionally, Sachin and Sahil plan on introducing the Black Box technology to several storage plants in the world. Sahil has discussed the benefits of using the Black Box technology. Many farmers are forced to throw away produce, which makes their hard work be in vain.

They are unable to store the produce because they do not have the proper facilities. That is why they have to throw the produce away if they are unable to store it. However, if Black Box technology is used, then they will be able to keep their produce a lot more longer. Farmers will not only be able to save more money, but they will also be able to make more money.

Sahil also stated that the new technology will create a win-win situation for everyone. It will be easier for people to transport their goods to other countries. The Black Box storage capacity is currently 30 tonnes. One tonne is equivalent to 1,000 KG. The company will eventually increase the storage capacity to 1,000 tonnes.
