Trump’s War With Iran Hurts The U.S. Tech Industry

Bob Mueller agreed to sit in front of two Congressional committees in July. The House Judiciary Committee and the Intelligence Committee will ask Mueller questions about his report and why he didn’t conclude Trump was team Russia during the 2016 campaign.

The Republicans on both committees want a piece of Mueller. They want to smear Mueller’s credibility and defend Trump at all costs. Mr. Mueller will testify before both committees in a back-to-back performance. Mr. Mueller said he couldn’t indict Trump for obstruction of Justice even though he had enough proof to do so. Mueller said he couldn’t indict Trump due to a Justice Department rule. The DOJ rule states a sitting president is above the law.

Iran is over with Trump. The latest round of Trump sanctions against the Supreme Leader and other high-level Iranians is a joke, according to Iran’s foreign minister. But Prime Minister Javad Zarf said Iran won’t sit down and talk to Trump about their nuclear plans. The Iranians say they refuse to negotiate with a bully and a liar.

Mr. Trump said he’s ready to crush Iran if the Iranians retaliate in any way. China, Russia, Europe, Australia, and Japan support Iran’s position. Mr. Trump is all alone in his plan to overthrow Iran’s government. According to the Financial Tribune, a Trump war with Iran could hurt the U.S. tech industry. Trump’s Huawei ban, as well as the sanctions against Iran, will push techies from other countries away from U.S. tech companies according to the director of Iran IT Organization.

Putin called Trump a tariff and sanctions warmonger and business disrupter. A Russian security chief told the press Trump’s spy drone was in Iran’s airspace when Iran shot it down.

Kellyanne Conway won’t talk to Congress about violating the Hatch Act thanks to an executive privilege order from the president. Conway likes to campaign for Trump while she does White House business, and that violates the Hatch Act. A GOP special counsel told Trump to fire her after he completed his investigation, but the president said Conway’s has the right to say whatever she wants. If she refuses to talk to Congress, she runs the risk of being held in contempt.

Mr. Trump sent Mike Pence to Miami to talk to Latino voters. But Latino voters are over Trump. Most Latinos want a Democrat to win the election. Trump burned a lot of Latino bridges with his immigration policy and his recent attempt to find illegals in ten U.S. cities and deporting them. In 2016, Trump got about 26 percent of the Latino vote. According to a new poll, that percentage will drop in 2020.
