1.  Burj Khalifa | Dubai

Burj Khalifa is known preliminary to its inauguration as Burj Dubai,  it is a tremendous tall skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. it’s the tallest man made structure in the World standing at 829.8 m 2,722 foot and has 163 floor. it is Developed by Emaar Properties.

The Construction of this building started from 6 January 2004 and completed in 31 December 2009 and was officially launched in 4 January 2010. it is situated at 1 Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.The tower’s architecture and engineering were done by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill of Chicago.total cost to construct this building is USD $ 1.5 billion. The building holds the record as the tallest building in the world

Burj Khalifa

1. Shanghai Tower | China

The Shanghai Tower  is a huge tall skyscraper in  Lujiazui,Pudong, Shanghai. Designed by Gensler and owned by a consortium of Chinese state owned companies.  it is the second largest building in the World standing at  632 metres 2,073 ft high and has 128 stories ,with a total floor area of 380,000 m2  4,090,000 sq ft.

The Construction of this building started from 29 November 2008 and Completed in 6 September 2015 and was officially launched in 15 March 2016.Total cost to construct this building is US$2.4 billion. This Tower was designed by the American architectural firm Gensler, with Chinese architect Jun Xia leading the design team.

3. Abraj Al Bait | Saudi Arabia

The Abraj Al Bait is also known as the Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel, is a government owned mega tall building complex located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The tallest building in Saudi Arabia, with a height of 601 metres 1,972 feet. The Construction of this building started from 2004 and opening in 2012. Total cost to construct this building is US$15 billion. It consists of 120 floors and also has a large prayer room capable of holding more than 10,000 people. This building was designed and developed under Saudi Binladin Group.

4. Taipei 101 | Taiwan

Taipei 101 is a tallest tower Preliminary known as the Taipei World Financial Center  is a landmark super tall skyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan.

Construction of this  tower started in 1999 and finished in 2004 and total cost to build this tower is US$1.934 billion. this tower has comprises 101 floors above ground, as well as 5 basement levels. The height to the top of the roof, at 449.2 m 1,474 feet.

The building is designed to with stand typhoon winds up to 216 km/hour,

5. Shanghai World Financial Center | China

The Shanghai World Financial Center is a mega tall skyscraper located in the Pudong district of Shanghai, China. It was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by the Mori Building Company.

It is a mixed-use skyscraper, consisting of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and ground-floor shopping malls. Construction of this tower started in 27 august 1997 and opening in 2008. Total cost to construct this building is USD $ 1.20 billion.In 14 September 2007 the skyscraper was topped out and is 492 meters 1,614.2 feet.

6. International Commerce Centre | Hong Kong

The International Commerce Centre is a 108 storey, 484 m 1,588 ft commercial skyscraper started from 2002 and completed in 2010 in West Kowloon, Hong Kong.

The tower was designed by the American architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) in association with Wong & Ouyang (HK) Ltd.  Branding and marketing were handled by Wordsearch.  The world’s highest swimming pool and bar, can be found on the top 118th floor of this building.

International Commerce Centre

7. Petronas Twin Tower | Malaysia

The Petronas Towers is also known as the Petronas Twin Towers are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. These towers were designed by Argentine architect César Pelli.

Construction of this building started from 1 march 1993 and completed in march 1996 and inaugurated in 1 august 1999.total cost to construct this building is US$ 1.6 bilion. The Owner of this building is KLCC Holdings Sdn Bhd. The 88 floor towers are constructed largely of reinforced concrete, with a steel and glass facade designed to resemble motifs found in Islamic art, a reflection of Malaysia’s Muslim religion.

8. Zifeng Tower | China

Zifeng Tower Prevously known as Nanjing Greenland Financial Center. This tower is a 450 metre 1,480 feet super tall skyscraper  located in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, China.

The building has 89 floor which are used for various purposes and construction of this building started from may 2005 and opening in 18 December 2010. Total cost to construct this building 5 billion RMB. The tower designed by the Architectural firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.

Zifeng Tower

9. Kingkey 100 | China

The KK100 Previously  known as Kingkey 100 and Kingkey Finance Center Plaza, is a mega tall skyscraper located in Shenzhen,    Guangdong  province, China.

The mixed use building rises 441.8 metres 1,449 feet and contains 100 floors for office space and a hotel. Out of those 100 floors, 68 are used for Class  A office Space and 22 Stories for a five star business hotel and the top four floors of the building hold a garden and several other restaurants. The building has a height,width ratio of 9.5:1, thus becoming one of China’s slimmest buildings.

10. Guangzhou International Finance Center | China

Guangzhou International Finance Centre has  is a 103 Floors  438.6 m and 1,439 ft skyscraper located at Zhujiang Avenue West in the Tianhe District of Guangzhou, Guangdong, China.

The Construction of this building started from December 2005 and and opening in 2010 for public.Floors 1 to 66 are use for office and 67 and 68 are use for mechanical equipment. 69 to 98 floors use for business class hotel and  99 and 100 are used as an observation deck.

11. Jin Mao Tower | China

The Jin Mao Tower also known as the Jinmao Buildingor Jinmao Tower, The tower has 88 Floor. It is 420.5 metres 1380 feet tall and is the 18th tallest building in the world. It contains a shopping mall, offices and the Grand Hyatt Shanghai hotel.

The Construction of this building started from 1994 and completed in 1999.the tower located in 88 Century Avenue, Pudong District, Shanghai 200121, China.

Jin Mao Tower

12. Princess Tower | Dubai

The Princess Tower standing with a 101 Floor, 413.4 m, 1,356 ft tall residential only skyscraper located in the Marina district of Dubai, UAE. It is also the second tallest building in Dubai after the Burj Khalifa.

The building comprises 763 units, 957 underground parking bays (spread over six floors), and eight retail outlets and Designed by Tameer Holdings, in September 2012.
