Analyzing the Google Pixel, Identifying High Quality Features

We are living in the age of constant improvement, particularly in the realm of our mobile phones. It used to be that just a few mobile options dominated the market and something like the Google Pixel 2 would never have been well received. Times are changing, however, and Google is rapidly making their mark on the mobile phone world. Taking a closer look at the Google Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL revealed a host of high quality features and they showcase that Google has a very real future in the mobile phone development world. For new phone users on the fence between going toward the new iPhone 8 or iPhone X and wanting to try something new, maybe the following information might be convincing.

Let’s start by looking at what the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL are doing better than anyone else int he industry right now. Right now the Pixel 2 has probably the most striking camera on the market at the moment. Dieter Bohn, from the online publication The Verge, said: “If Google can consistently produce similar results what I’ve already seen, it has made a big leap over last year’s Pixel camera.” Bohn went on to describe the Pixel 2’s camera hardware as being able to contend with the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X. That is a high watermark for a company like Apple that has cornered the market for themselves over the years.

One of the primary allures of a Google Phone has always been more in reference to the software than the actual hardware. Having Google, the unofficial leader of the internet, developing software for a mobile device was a dream come true. The first Pixel didn’t take advantage of their obvious benefits but the Pixel 2 is looking to change things up. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL both come packed with innovative AR and AI technology. Google introduced the Google Lens feature which is an ‘object recognition tool’ that can properly identify a host of different objects and sort them out for you. There is also the ARCore which is going to bring people closer to the Augmented Reality that companies have been promoting for years.

Google introduced the world to optimism for change with the Google Pixel and for the Google Pixel 2 it appears that they are improving upon and making good their promise to customers.
