A new app that is available for people who live in Fresno, California will help people skip the lines at the bar. The name of the app is Overflow. It was created by Bixly, which is a Fresno-based company.
They created the app so that people could spend less time ordering drinks at the bar and more time socializing with people. Nick Mortley is the CEO of Bixly Inc. He stated that the purpose of the Overflow app is to help people get their drinks faster. You can use the app to order your drinks and then socialize with your friends.
One of Nick’s business partners gave him the idea for the app. He stated that his partner spent 45 minutes at the bar waiting for their drinks. People will be able to use the app to order drinks as well as open and close their bar from their seat. They will be notified when the drink is ready.
All customers have to do is choose the bar that they are in, click on the type of beverage that they want and select their payment option. The bartender will be notified when someone places an order. Nick said that people should not order their drink too early. If you do not pick up your drink within 15 minutes, then it will expire and be thrown out.
Nick said that he wants to eventually make the app available to everyone who lives in California. However, he wants to test it out in Fresno first. The app will soon be available in 20 bars in Fresno. It is free for bars and customers to download this app. Nick said that there have been similar apps in the past. However, the fact that this app is free makes it different from all of the other ones.
